Dr.Pitikhate Sooraksa got a Ph.D. from University of Houston, Texas, USA, in 1996. He then worked at SMAR Laboratory in Houston as a post-doctoral training program. In 2002, he worked as a research fellow at City University of Hong Kong, China. Currently, he is an associate professor at Department of Computer Engineering, KMITL. His research interest focuses on computer-communication-control for innovative applications. He got Asian Innovation awards from the Far East Economic Review in 2001, outstanding research awards from Thailand Research Funds in 2001 and 2008, and Best Prototype in Telecom-Innovation award from Telecommunications Research and Industrial Development Institute (TRIDI) in 2010. He held an international patent in the field of authentication devices for computer communication and the internet.
